Over the summer, two of our brothers got to participate in some awesome Sigep programs.
Will Bachman got the opportunity to represent Ohio Theta by attending Tragos Quest to Greece. Appling to Tragos consists of a very competitive process in which only a small group of undergrads are picked from around the nation. We asked will to share some of his experience with us and this is what he had to say, “My experience at Tragos Quest to Greece was phenomenal. I had the privilege of not only learning Greek philosophy, history, and art, but also experiencing it at the same time. The best part was at the end of it all I was able to foster new friendships that will last a lifetime.” We are excited to hear more about Will’s journey in the fall when he will share more about what he learned from the experience with the chapter.
Another one of our brothers, Logan York, got the opportunity to attend Ruck Leadership academy. Logan had previously attended Ruck during covid in a remote format, so this time he got to experience the roots of our fraternity in person. Logan also gave a testimony of his experience in which he said, “The Ruck Leadership Academy was a great program that allowed us leaders to develop and workshop new skills. There were 4 fully programmed days which included: small group discussions, ropes course, history tours, workout, ultimate frisbee, and a formal dinner. I look forward to sharing my experience with my chapter and I’m excited for the brothers that will attend Ruck going forward.”
We are all very proud of these two for stepping up and representing Ohio Theta. We cannot wait for our brothers to follow in the footsteps of these leaders in the chapter. Great job guys!
